Alongside the all-new Redmi 8A Dual, which is an upgraded version of the Redmi 8A announced last year, Redmi has today made its foray into a new category of devices, the power banks. The company has announced two new power banks, in 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh capacity, with USB Type-C and micro USB inputs, along with two USB Type-A output ports.
In terms of design, both the 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh capacity power banks feature a polycarbonate body with a button at the bottom to view the remaining juice in the bank, which is highlighted using the LED indicators. Besides, the button can also be used to activate the low-power mode for charging low-power devices. To enable low-power mode, all that you need to do is double-press the button, and that’s it. Furthermore, both power banks come with two-way charging support, which allows you to charge a device using the power bank and also charge it simultaneously. In terms of protection, both the power banks employ a 9-layer circuit-chip protection mechanism and use lithium polymer batteries. The Redmi power bank comes in two color options: Black and White.

Redmi Power Bank: Pricing and Availability
The Redmi power bank comes in two capacities: 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh, priced at Rs 799 and Rs 1,499, respectively. It will go on sale in India starting February 18 across Mi.com and Mi Home stores.
