Chinese telecom and hardware brand, ZTE, today announced the launch of its latest smartphone in its home market, China. Dubbed as the Axon 11 5G, the smartphone is the new entry in the company’s mid-range portfolio with 5G capabilities. Some of the other highlights of the device include the Snapdragon 765G chipset, quad-rear cameras, a 4000mAh battery, and 5G connectivity. Let’s dive in and check out the device in detail.

ZTE Axon 11 5G: Design and Display
In terms of design, the Axon 11 5G features a hyperbolic curved display with a glass back on the rear and rounded corners around its edges. Towards the front, it has a 6.47-inch curved AMOLED display that offers a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. Upfront, there is a notch present at the center to house the front-facing camera, and the device offers an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication. The Axon 11 5G comes in two colorways: Laser Black and Pearl White.
ZTE Axon 11 5G: Performance
Talking about performance, the ZTE Axon 11 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor running under the hood, which is an octa-core processor manufactured on the 7nm process, with the Adreno 620 GPU. Moreover, the 765G chipset comes with integrated 5G connectivity with AI processing and Snapdragon’s Elite gaming experience. Besides, the handset comes with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage (expandable up to 2TB with microSD card). To power the internals, it includes a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging support.
As for other hardware specifications, the phone comes with support for 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, and Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication and a USB Type-C port. On the software front, the device runs on Android 10 out of the box.
ZTE Axon 11 5G: Camera
In the camera department, the Axon 11 5G sports a quad-camera setup on the rear, arranged in a square camera module, with an LED flash. The setup includes a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.89 aperture, accompanied by an 8MP 120° ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the device has a 20MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The ZTE Axon 11 5G comes in three configurations: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB, which is priced at CNY 2698 (~ USD 379), CNY 2998 (~ USD 421), and CNY 3398 (~ USD 477) respectively.
